The following are photos from a rural community along Highway 166. This two lane highway connects between the coast and the great valley of California. It’s a beautiful drive, somewhat dangerous and in some cases deadly. Winding through Los Padres mountain range, there are very few farms, mostly large cattle ranches and even some oil fields. The road crosses the San Andres Fault, one of the largest and deadliest faults in the world, it traverses from Mexico to Alaska.
